FARMINGTON — Police say a Farmington man faces charges of domestic violence, criminal threatening and stalking after a former girlfriend's vehicle was damaged twice within a week.
Joshua J. Norton, 33, was arrested Wednesday on High Street after the windshield of a vehicle on High Street was smashed.
He was given a summons a few days earlier when a side window on the vehicle was damaged. Since it wasn't the first time this week, Norton also was charged with stalking, said Bonnie Pomeroy, secretary, Farmington Police Department.
No one was injured in the incident.
Norton was released from Franklin County Detention Center Wednesday on $250 bail and has a court date scheduled for Feb. 21.

Indeed
I don't understand the decision making process here. You have a man that will soon be facing criminal charges of stalking and damaging the property of a former girlfriend...
So letting him out on bail from just the money he currently had in his wallet is smart how? I hope there is some sort of restraining order to go along with this, not that it seems like he would care.

$250? After stalking and twice vandalizing his ex's property? Ridiculous.
