Crews from Longchamps & Sons Construction tear down the former Graziano's Casa Mia restaurant in Lisbon on Thursday to make room for a Luiggi's Pizzeria. "It's sad to see it go," Mary Graziano Richard said as she watched. It had been in her family since 1969. "I started working there when I was 10," she said. "I wish the St. Hilaire family the best." Earl St. Hilaire, his wife, Angie, brother Dennis St. Hilaire and his wife, Kelly, and sister LuAnn Frenette and her husband, Marc, bought the building in early September.
"It's sad to see it go," Mary Graziano Richard said as she and Bob Marquis watched the Lisbon restaurant that has been in Graziano Richard's family since 1969 come down Thursday. Crews from Longchamps & Sons Construction tore down the former Graziano's Casa Mia to make room for a Luiggi's Pizzeria.
The walls to Graziano's Casa Mia started coming down at 8:15 a.m. on Thursday.

It would have been nice if instead of destroying a peice of that towns history, if they would have built the new Luiggis out of what was already there.

It is sad to see it go, but when the new building is up it will improve the character of the area. It was an eye sore as it was all different size buildings. Good luck and I will be there for your pizza.

Actually, the building(s) were in really poor condition, and would have cost more to renovate than they would ever be worth. Bad floor plan, wasted space...time to go.
