AUGUSTA (AP) — Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is coming to Maine to raise money for Republican Gov. Paul LePage's re-election campaign.

Bush will headline an event July 2 at a hotel in Kennebunkport, where his father, former President George H.W. Bush, has a seaside estate at Walker's Point.

A number of Republicans are listed as hosts of the event, including moderate former U.S. Sen. Olympia Snowe along with current Sen. Susan Collins. Also listed as hosts are two candidates who lost to LePage in the GOP primary in 2010: former Maine treasurer Bruce Poliquin and businessman Les Otten.

A private session and photo opportunity costs $2,000 per person or $3,000 per couple. General admission, an hour after the private session begins, costs $150 per person.

And Lepage vetoed the budget

And Lepage vetoed the budget because of the "small" tax increases....he should have scrapped his a long time ago for the "big" tax increase. He also says the legislative leadership NEEDS to sit down at the table to discuss the budget with him....where the heck was he when the legislative leadership wanted to sit down at the time months ago....typical bully.

Stupid following stupider, Another Burning Bush idiot

Obamacare Is Bad Because Citizens Whose Parents Are Illegal Get Benefits!!!!!

Here’s a surprise. Seemingly out of nowhere, Bush condemns the Affordable Care Act’s Medicaid expansion, recently accepted by Gov. Rick Scott (R-FL), for doling out “welfare” to the children of illegal immigrants.

What’s strange is that Bush isn't even complaining about illegal immigrants getting Medicaid benefits, he’s complaining about American citizens who were born in the country whose parents are undocumented.

But that has nothing to do with Obamacare: the president didn't invent Medicaid and those kids were already free to apply, just as their citizenship lets them apply to myriad social programs.

It is true, as Bush notes, that more of these children will be eligible for Medicaid benefits in states like Florida now. That’s because more Floridians in general will be eligible for Medicaid under the Obamacare expansion.

Why doesn't Lepage just move

Why doesn't Lepage just move to Florida and get it over with since he goes to Florida to get people to raise money for him, favors Florida schools.....can't he find enough support here to raise money for his campaign......looks like the Karma signs may be appearing for him.
