LEWISTON — Romeo P. “Chico” Bosse Jr., 57, of Lewiston, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 14, at Marshwood Healthcare.

He was born in Lewiston on Aug. 9, 1956, the son of Romeo P. Bosse Sr. and Beatrice Bosse. A resident of Lewiston all his life, he attended local schools and graduated from Lewiston High School, Class of 1976.

He worked various jobs in the twin cities devoting 18 years for the Lewiston Public Works Department.

He was a member of Holy Family Church.

Chico was a lifelong fan of the New York Yankee’s. This always sparked a discussion with his friends during baseball season, especially when the Yankee’s were beating the Red Sox. He was also a fan of the New York Giants, Jeff Gordon and the Montreal Canadiens, taking many trips to see them.

Spending time at the ocean was something Chico spoke about often. He loved walking along the shore and was happy that he spent his 50th birthday at Old Orchard Beach.

Romeo was involved in several charities. He often volunteered his time during local walk-a-thon events. He gave what he could to the ASPCA. He will forever love his cat, Sam.

Romeo leaves behind his mother, Beatrice; and his daughter, Marcy. He also leaves his close family friends and neighbors, Andre Arel and Patricia Malcolm.

He was predeceased by his father who passed away in 2003.

Chico was often seen in the neighborhood helping his friends and keeping an eye out for his neighbors. He will be sadly missed by his family and his many friends in the community.
