LEWISTON — Three men were arrested early Monday morning after security personnel at Bates College saw them playing baseball with the side mirrors of cars parked in the 300 block of College Street.
Andrew J. Frenette, 18, of 93 Howe St.; Charles Francis Faletra, 18, of 282 Pine St. #2; and Lukas Poisson, 18, of 5 Richard Terrace, were all charged with one count each of aggravated criminal mischief.
The three men were arrested at 2:30 a.m. Monday, according to Lewiston police Sgt. Brian O'Malley.
O'Malley said that Bates Campus Security called the Police Department at about 12:15 a.m. to report that security officers saw a car driving around smashing mirrors on cars. According to the report, Faletra was driving the car and Frenette and Poisson were hanging out the window hitting mirrors with a baseball bat. O'Malley said five cars were damaged.

I have to agree what they
I have to agree what they did was a really stupid thing to do but honestly I don't think there is one person out there that can say they have never done something they shouldn't have. Granted they should know better and should not have done what they did but is there a real need to have pictures posted of them? I am a concerned citizen of this town and I worry that if the sun journal posts their pictures it will only be looking for trouble. They were caught and I am sure they will pay the consequences when they go in front of a judge. What do you say we sit back and let the courts take care of this and stop being the judge and jury.

Let the justice system do it's job and stop being immature.
If you are so outraged by crime in the twin cities, maybe you should stake out a gas station and stop a robber? As in, a real criminal, felony, etc etc etc.
