Spruce Mountain had announced they may not be able to open this year due to power supply issues but officials at the town-owned, non-profit ski area said Thursday they had resolved their issues and would open after all.  (Amber Waterman/Sun Journal file photo 2008)

An agreement has been worked out between Central Maine Power Co. and other entities to allow Spruce Mountain Ski Club to use three-phase power from the Otis Mill to operate its machines.

The ski slope is scheduled to open the day after Christmas, Saturday, Dec. 26.
