Passage of the health care bill is a bitter pill to have to swallow.
It seems nothing the people say amounts to a hill of beans to the representatives anymore. I guess this country has seen its better days. It's all downhill from here. Why even bother any more, folks?
I hope those people who are for that health care bill know exactly what is about to come down on us all. Medicare is going bankrupt; Medicaid is going bankrupt; we can really afford this, can't we?
I could go on about why it's a bad thing, but why bother?
I guess now people will just have to see for themselves. Better bring a book while you are waiting in line — you'll need it. A nice long novel should do the trick.
