BRIDGTON — A Harrison woman was taken to a Lewiston hospital Friday night with injuries sustained when her pickup truck left Route 93 and rolled onto its roof, Bridgton police officer Josh Muise said.
Sara Wentworth, 30, was first taken to Bridgton Hospital and later transferred to Central Maine Medical Center, the investigator said. A nursing supervisor there said late Friday night that there was no information available on her condition.
Muise said Wentworth was headed west near the intersection of Kilgore Road when her 1994 Chevrolet S10 truck went off the road into some trees and landed on its roof. She was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown out, landing about 20 feet from the truck, he said. "Speed was a factor," he noted.
Assisting Muise were officers Brad Gaumont, Donald McCormick and Timothy Reese, along with members of the Fire Department.
