Harrison woman ejected in Bridgton crash

BRIDGTON — A Harrison woman was taken to a Lewiston hospital Friday night with injuries sustained when her pickup truck left Route 93 and rolled onto its roof, Bridgton police officer Josh Muise said.

Sara Wentworth, 30, was first taken to Bridgton Hospital and later transferred to Central Maine Medical Center, the investigator said. A nursing supervisor there said late Friday night that there was no information available on her condition.

Muise said Wentworth was headed west near the intersection of Kilgore Road when her 1994 Chevrolet S10 truck went off the road into some trees and landed on its roof. She was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown out, landing about 20 feet from the truck, he said. "Speed was a factor," he noted.

Assisting Muise were officers Brad Gaumont, Donald McCormick and Timothy Reese, along with members of the Fire Department.

" Yes, we all wish she had

"

Yes, we all wish she had been wearing her seatbelt, but now all we care about is seeing her live & come home to her parents.  She is the only child of a two wonderful people & a friend to many!  That's why they call it an accident!  We ALL make mistakes.  If you feel the need, send me the bill"

Driving is a full time job with special attention to all its rules . Someone was delinquent in this girls driving education --- it didn't take ! !  !   !

In today's world there is no room or forgiveness for this kind of careless driving ---- look at the statistics for real convincing proof

Your above statements do not really cover the subject.

All who read this should heed the driving lesson ! !  !  !    !   !     !

Yes, we all wish she had been wearing her seatbelt, but now all we care about is seeing her live & come home to her parents.  She is the only child of a two wonderful people & a friend to many!  That's why they call it an accident!  We ALL make mistakes.  If you feel the need, send me the bill!  HAPPY EASTER TO YOU!

I hope you never have a friend or family memeber make the mistake of being involved in a serious car accident..Shame on you!

seat belt

Give her a ticket for seat belt violation and charge her for time wasted getting her to a hospital.  That is the purpose of the seat belt law.  Keep you inside the vehicle!
