Wilton Police Chief Dennis Brown, left, and Officer Timothy Coombs launched a newly acquired police boat for the first time Friday on Wilson Lake. The boat, equipment, new paint and sealing were donated by the Wilton group, Friends of Wilson Lake, Brown said. He is still looking for a dock on the lake to store it. The local officers will undergo a training session with the Maine Warden Service on boater safety.
