Crash in Auburn sends two to the hospital

AUBURN — A Tuesday evening crash near the Auburn Mall sent a man and boy to the hospital with minor injuries.

The Auburn Police Department reported the accident occurred just before 6 p.m. the intersection of Turner Street and Mount Auburn Avenue. Keith Higgins, 27, of West Minot, and a 2-year-old boy were taken to Central Maine Medical Center as a result of the crash.

Both Higgins and the boy were passengers in a 2000 Ford Mustang driven by Devon Hartford, 29, also of West Minot.
