Man killed in Marsh Road crash

SABATTUS – A local man was killed Wednesday afternoon when he drove his car off Marsh Road and tore through a pasture fence.

Sabattus police officers investigate while firefighters stand by at the scene of a fatal accident on Marsh Road in Sabattus on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said Andrew Webster, 33, of Sabattus, was dead at the scene when they arrived at about 1:30 p.m.

Sabattus police Lt. Matt Prince said Webster suffered multiple injuries from the wood beams that ripped into his Nissan Altima upon impact with the fence.

It was not immediately clear what caused Webster to drive off the roadway. Police said he was known to have medical issues. The crash remained under investigation.

I'll miss you

We lost a great guy who would do ANYTHING for his friends. Thank you Webby for being there for me after Emmy died and our road trips you would take me on to get away from this damn world.
