Erica L. Field

1980 - 2009

LEWISTON — Erica Lynn Field, 29, of Lewiston, died unexpectedly Aug. 25.

She was born in Lewiston, Feb. 20, 1980, the daughter of James and Gina (Gregoire) Field. She attended Lewiston schools and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1999. She then went on to attend Bernard's School of Hair Fashion where she graduated in 2003. In the past, she was employed as a hair dresser and also, beginning when she was a teenager up until the time of her death, at Val's Root Beer with her family.

Erica had a zest for life, but her passion was her daughter, Monica. They shared a special mother-daughter bond and are an important part of a large, loving family.

She was an exceptional high school softball player and later played on co-ed teams together with her parents.

She will be remembered as a caring, soft-hearted person who was always willing to give of herself to others.

Erica is survived by her daughter, Monica Rae Field; her parents, James and Gina Field; her maternal grandmother, Jeannette Gregoire, all of Lewiston; and many other close family members.

She was predeceased by her brother, Michael Field; her maternal grandfather, Val Gregoire; and her paternal grandparents, Raymond and Louise Field.

We would like to express a sincere thank you to all of our family and friends for their prayers and support during this difficult time.

What a beautiful picture.

What a beautiful picture. This is how I will remember Erica. Gina and Jim my prayers are with you and Monica. You have an unimaginable source of strength and it has shown with the trying times you have been put through. In all the years I have known Erica, you have never left her side no matter what she had gone through and she knew it. With your faith and family support it will be possible to pull through although it may not seem it now.
