State police cruiser crashes

A Maine State Police trooper was injured Thursday on Route 43 in Farmington, after it appears his cruiser rolled over. Police remained at the scene as of 12:30 p.m. A portion of the road, also known as Industry Road, has been shut down while the accident is being investigated. The accident occurred before the Franklin County Animal Shelter heading toward Industry. The trooper appeared to be alert as he was strapped to a stretcher.
