Betsy Riley of Wilton, Dave Jenckes, center, of Farmington and Riley's husband Gil look at a photograph by Steve Traficonte of Oxford during the unveiling of the Auburn Art Wall on Saturday. Jenckes' wife, Penny Hood, is one of the eight Maine artists whose work was chosen for the display along Main Street. "Art belongs out for the public to see, so this is perfect," Hood said.

 's picture

for us out of towners

Wish there were more pictures here. I'd enjoy seeing what is on display now.

Beautiful but distracting as

Beautiful but distracting as people round the new Main St. curve. No parking on either side of the street to just stop and admire.

Could have been even better

if it was local kids. Would have saved a LOT of money for Auburn too.

Not really

I volunteered on the last one with the school kids and it was still pretty expensive. An artist was hired and supplies had to be provided. Sure was fun though
