A ring-billed gull looks for a handout on Thursday morning while perched atop one of the large boulders installed beside new red benches lining the shore of Wilson Pond in Wilton. According to Maine Audubon naturalist Eric Hynes, these gulls are quite common now inland as they start migrating to overwintering sites along the East Coast, including Maine.
