Man shot in Lewiston; police release few details of Saturday incident

LEWISTON — A man was shot and taken to Central Maine Medical Center at around 8:40 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Lieutenant Mark Watson declined to release specifics for the sake of the investigation, including where in the city the shooting took place. The man, who was not named, did not appear to have life-threatening injuries, Watson said.
