I don't understand the big, fat, hairy deal people are making over voter registration. Reading the letters to the editor, one would think a person must register before every election.
Have these people ever voted?
When I moved to the area five years ago, one of the first things I did was register to vote. It's just part of the drill. Get the electricity turned on, forward the mail, register to vote. You're done. Don't have to do it again unless you move to a different district.
What's the big deal?

What's the big deal?
. .A : No big deal , John 5:05 pm Thursday HST •
According to our U S Constitution it is simply s right and a - r e s p o n s i b i l i t y - to vote . Yes : your repsonsibility ( not you specifically , John :) . It's written in black and white right in our Constitution . People forget what they are obliged and required ( except you ƒelons ) to do in a fully functioning democracy
This newspaper has rightly noted that fact time and time again
Thanks again for writing , John /s, Dr. Dosh
Paul ? All generalizations are ƒalse √

Anyone who elects someone to manage his money for him is an idiot. Does that mean voters are idiots? Does that further mean that voters who can't get themselves registered to vote before election day are bigger idiots?

You gave up all pretense of credibility by placing an R behind each name. You and you know who must be drinking the Kool-Aid from the same goblet.

I've decided I love the disagree button now. It means you don't like what I'm saying, but you are powerless to refute it.

Had it been a democrat who had passed the bill ,all would be different. The people in this area do not like anything coming out of Augusta that has a republican name on it.

Control is the big deal, from both sides. When it comes to the political arena, control is always the focal point. This whole argument has put into light just how deceitful both parties are. It's always been about control, and both parties' ability to spin the issues to garner that control.
