Rumford board faces light agenda Jan. 19

RUMFORD — Thursday night's Board of Selectmen meeting at 7 p.m. in Rumford Falls Auditorium looks to be rather short.

Under new business, approvals are sought for an overhead door bid for Public Works, a new sign for the loading zone on Congress Street by the Greater Rumford Community Center, and a routine liquor license application and special amusement permit for the Elks.

There will also be an executive session for a personnel issue.

Other than reports from selectmen, Town Manager Carlo Puii and department managers as needed, nothing else is scheduled.

Issues

This agenda is two short. With what needs to be done in Rumford seems to be getting igfnored. It is my observation this board refuses to tackle them with the fear of rffling feathers.

Hmmm...

The question is, did the person disagree with because they thought I was actually impressed, or did they sense the sarcasm??? Perhaps they just disagree with everything I say just because I am me. :)
