The Sun Journal editorial of Sept. 8 about Maine Medical Association's rejection of their resolution concerning the health effects of wind turbines was so convoluted that although I had attended one of their meetings I couldn't understand the editorial board's view or theirs on the issue.
The editorial stated that if the MMA should resolve anything at all, it should be that dismissing the possible health effects of turbines without examining the facts and/or studying new data would be foolhardy.
The editorial implied that studying the situation as soon as possible would be a good course of action because construction of industrial-size wind turbines is occurring across Western Maine.
But what was their resolution? The editorial stated that nothing was decided. Surely "nothing" is not the good course of action that the editorial advised.

Editor's Note: The editorial of Sept. 8 said the MMA should resolve to encourage studies of potential health effects from wind turbines as soon as possible.
