ARUNDEL, Maine (AP) — The Maine attorney general's office has brought a murder charge against a father who told police he squeezed his infant son's head and threw him into a chair, causing injuries that led to his death.
Spokeswoman Brenda Kielty says four charges were filed Wednesday against 23-year-old Gordon Collins-Faunce: murder, elevated aggravated assault, aggravated assault and assault.
Collins-Faunce originally faced an aggravated assault charge after the 2 1/2-month-old was injured Saturday at his Arundel home. The boy died early Tuesday.
A police affidavit says Collins-Faunce acknowledged being angry because the baby was crying and holding the boy suspended by his head before throwing him into a chair. He told police that the force he used was "eight or nine" on a scale of 1 to 10.

So what was so wrong about my comment that you felt the need to remove?? I have seen some VERY rude and VOLGUR comments on here before and they are not removed, was it because I made the comment that he will meet up with BABBA??? other then that what was so wrong?? A dad would never had even a thought of doing what he did. I bet that 21/2 month old boy put up a good fight. When he goes to jail, put him in the main population, don't hide him away. He never gave that baby a chance, why should he get one...(just a real DAD'S opinion)...
