Well, here we go again. Another Lepage fumble. One million dollars to do what? Guess we won't know for a while. In the meantime, our fearless spender leader can work on his next booklet of "accomplishments."
It's sad that the school has to be demolished. I would think it could have been used to develop housing for the elderly or a homeless shelter. This is another project for the elite.
In case you didn't know, it's not up to us to find an alternative plan--that's the job of our elected "officials." And furthermore, last time I looked, this was supposed to be a democracy--we are allowed to have our opinions whether or not they coincide with yours.
ObamaCare (AKA ACA) is simply a get-rich-quick scheme. And it's "all about the money." Most of the money will be going into the coffers of the insurance companies and not the wallets of the insured. I further predict that very likely, in a year's time, premiums and deductibles will increase and some medical services currently covered will fade out of existence. After all--insurers do not like to lose.
I can imagine, at the very least, negligence was involved in this unfortunate injury. Gun owners must keep their weapons locked up and secured in any area where kids are or reside. Unfortunately, this toddler will probably have a very hard life.
So true, Robert. So true.
I believe the subject is the "Iran agreement."
Addendum: Another group that should go is GrowSmart Maine. It has affiliation with the Smart Growth America's Leadership Institute whose vice president Roger Millar stated while in Lewiston : "My favorite definition of smart growth is this: Get drunk, walk home. Smart growth." The reference for this is a Sun-Journal article of November 20, 2013 entitled "Young and old want urban living, according to Smart Growth group."
Oh, darn it. All that money I saved for gambling will have to go for beer and ______(not legal yet) and I was hoping for an activity downtown that I could walk home from in complete safety.
Makes sense to me, Robert. How about starting a committee to get rid of unecessary and financially burdensome groups such as the LAEGC. There are too many of these and so-called "think tanks" around.
