YEA!! Finally a true reading of what we use! It has always upset me that I, as well as other single folks, have had to pay the exact amount as a family..some who have 4,5 6 kids. I can imagine some peoples 'first' bill! I know mine will finally go DOWN!!

Give it a rest people! We need some occasionaly 'good stuff' to come out of Augusta. We have MAINE made whoopie pies with Mrs. Bouchards Imax. ( i believe thats how it is spelled) He isn't telling you to eat the delicious thngs, he is just making them famous. We need something to be famous for OTHER than the Bafoon you people voted in..( I proudly say did NOT vote for him).....this is a FUN little thing...we need some FUN people.lighten up!!

What 'side' we choose to be on is a very personal one. It saddens me that still, to this day, it has become so political & hostile. Some actually vote for a politician based souly on what 'side' they are on on this issue alone. That is just not right. I am not afraid to say I am 'Pro Choice'...but..could I personally have an abortion? I am not sure. Thankfully I am past the age to have to make the choice. But, I am glad that the 'choice' was there in my youth. I know women who have made that choice. It was the right one for them. I also know women who did not make the choice, and gave their child up. It was the right choice for them. I also know women who made the choice to keep their child, and the child suffered. Madeleine said it beautifully......read what she said about TAKING CARE of them once they are here. All the 'pro life' people tell others to keep their child, but you never see them offering to help adopt these children, or help the mother out financially, emotionaly..they just tell them they are sinners if they abort, then they become 'welfare mothers' and get condemed for that also. They can't win. Birth control DOES FAIL sometimes. The commercials that they play over and over saying women abort 1, 2 even 3 or 4 times is hog wash. Show us the proof of that! I have worked in the same field for over 30 years with 'low income' people. Not one woman, in all those years, has ever had more than 1 abortion. And I can count, on just both hands, how many, in those 30+ years, have had that 1 and only one.
This issue should be OUT of the political and religious arena, and put back into the individual person life.
I will make it political right now though, and say this IS a 'special interest' group..just as the 'pro choice' people are. Our so called Gov. needs to smarten up, button his lip, learn some RESPECT for the people of Maine..or he will soon find himself impeached!!

If he thinks of him as 'my son', why hasn't it been made 'formal'? And how would you feel if you were the one being spoken of as 'my son is black'..it's not a 'love' statement, it is a political statement that isn't even true! And he is out of state...has this 'son' ever actually LIVED with them? Has he raised him IN their home?? You and I can 'adopt a child' right on TV for $20.00 a month! Has anyone actualy looked to see anything about this 'black son'? John & Cindy MacCain have a black daughter..she was raised, IN their home, and adopted, from infancy. She is with them all the time, even on TV! Where is LaPages 'black child'??
