Paul Lepage is a successful man. As Mayor of Waterville he lowered taxes and increased their rainy day fund from 1 million to 10 million . Lets face it the workers of Maine are supporting the generational welfare slackers. To me Paul Lepage is a real man. If Lepage succeeds in putting a cap of the collection of lifetime welfare benefits and does a fair job of balancing the budget then I say a job well done.If he irks the liberals then I know he is on the right path.

More doctors will be opting out as of March 1st medicare reimbursement to doctors will be cut by 21% and the cuts will keep on coming. How can a doctors practice survive when patient care exceeds revenue.
As for the CBO numbers on Obama care. The numbers are only as good as what they were fed by the democrats and the CBO released new numbers May of 210, 115 billion more in spending. According to the CBO 1.1 trillion will be diverted from medicare to pay for Obama care and taxes will be increased on the American people by over 1 trillion dollars. The CBO also stated that insurance prices would rise by 10-13% and as as of 2019, 23 million people would still be un-insured. These figures taken from the weekly standard.
Congress needs to do the job we sent them to do. Repeal this mess of a bill and start over,

Penalties will go into effect in 2014 for not having minimal insurance coverage. 95 dollars the first year. In 2015 the penalty will jump to 350 dollars then jump to 750 in 2016 then up from there. The republicans were not included in the process as the dems were in charge and it was all done behind closed doors. If you remember NO ONE read the bill when it was passed by democrats, some democrats were bribed to vote for it. If you think this bill will create jobs you have another thing coming as employers will be forced to pay for employees insurance coverage or pay a modest payroll based tax.(6% of payroll) You still have to pay for the coverage for you and your family if you enroll. It will cost 200 dollars a month for families, 140 dollars for couples and 130 dollars for single parent families. (Government info) This is a government run program so you are apt to have rationing and Obama care will be available to legal citizens.
