I wonder if there is anyone out there that can see that freebees are not free, someone has to pay.
The news event was about the same as every day events, 5 per cent news reporting and 95 per cent opinions of so-called "experts" in various fields. I checked about each half hour to determine if the suspects had either been identified or caught.
Well written, Mr. Lockman. It's too bad politics has to come before serving the best interests of ALL the people. Good luck in your efforts to make Maine a better place to live. I hope you get re- elected as many times as possible.
The only complaint against a Lepage appointment that I read was of inefficientcy by the department head. The complaints against the other two, were against employees who had been there before Lepage was elected. Also interesting was that supporters of the abusers were people who received benefits from the agency. Maybe I misread the whole article???? Perhaps instead of blaming Lepage you should blame ex-pres Busch.
Why can't ALL the evidence be shown? Is the employer always wrong, or is the employee always right? If all the evidence isn't shown someone is getting an unfair advantage. Looks like someone is not doing the job the right way. Someone has to look at both sides without preference.
Common sense doesn't have a political party influence. That said, the rest of your letter has considerable merit. If you drive on Route 4 at the speed limit, you will be passed by many drivers who evidently think the speed limits are for everyone else.
Why would you complain NOW about something that happened in 2001? I don't know what Y-Not Team Fresh is all about, but hope it is something working in the current year. Evidently Lewiston is where you chose to live so it can't be all that bad.
Is this the most pressing item on her agenda? Surely there are more important things going on in the country for her to be working on than this. It seems as soon as our elected people go to Washington they lose their common sense and forget all the reasons why they were sent there. Maybe they are all smoking that stuff.
And I thought common sense had completely left the country. Probably neither of the involved parties would agree to evenly divide the costs of a survey.
