She should be "fairly" tried

She should be "fairly" tried and "if" convicted then she should be punished but not beforehand.
According to most I talked to and even to those in the media she is already guilty.
Even though the evidence is showing that she was not drunk as her blood alcohol content was .04% and quite possibly shows she was not texting while driving.
So the question I have is can she get a fair trial?

Actually it is only a small

Actually it is only a small percentage. Namely the larger cities and towns with their own law enforcement as it would be impossible or unrealistic to enforce any local fireworks ordinance otherwise.

I have been told that county Sheriff departments and the State police will not for the most part enforce local ordinances.

As for the cities that have banned not only the sale and use of fireworks but also their possession as well, I can not see this holding up if challenged through the courts

I'm not sure if this has been

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or not but a way to resolve this issue would be to do away with Concealed Carry Permits altogether
Vermont doesn't require permits and I believe Alaska doesn't either.
It would also be the most Constitutional way to deal with the issue.

Of course then you would have people saying well if we did that then Felons would carry and there would be all sorts of problems.

Well if that was true then why doesn't Vermont or Alaska have issues?

Criminals do not follow the laws and if they want to carry they will do so. The only people who end up hurt from these types of laws are law abiding citizens

Ron Paul refuses to concede Maine - Official Campaign release!

ON PAUL OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE SHOWS PAUL CAMPAIGN REFUSES TO CONCEDE SECOND PLACE FINISH IN MAINE:

PAUL CAMPAIGN COMMENTS ON MAINE RESULTS
"Ron Paul will win the most delegates out of Maine tonight"

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – Tonight the campaign of 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul sent an email to supporters regarding today’s caucus results from the state of Maine. See below for a portion of comments from Ron Paul 2012 Campaign Manager John Tate.

“Ron Paul will win the most delegates out of Maine tonight.

“In fact, he will probably even win the ‘beauty contest’ straw poll the media has already called for Mitt Romney – even before all the votes have been tallied.

“In Washington County – where Ron Paul was incredibly strong – the caucus was delayed until next week just so the votes wouldn’t be reported by the national media today.

“Of course, their excuse for the delay was ‘snow.’

“That’s right. A prediction of 3-4 inches – that turned into nothing more than a dusting -was enough for a local GOP official to postpone the caucuses just so the results wouldn’t be reported tonight.

“This is MAINE we’re talking about. The GIRL SCOUTS had an event today in Washington County that wasn’t cancelled!

“And just the votes of Washington County would have been enough to put us over the top.

“This is an outrage. But our campaign is in this race to win, and will stay in it to the very end.

“Congressman Paul’s message of liberty and Constitutional principles is resonating with Americans everywhere who are sick and tired of the status quo establishment, and we plan to take this campaign on to ‘Super Tuesday’ and beyond.”

A Romney win? Not so

A Romney win? Not so fast
Check out the results of the Caucus or lack of them.

Washington County's caucus was cancelled due a snow storm of 3-4 inches
which turned out to be a dusting. In fact a girl scout meeting took place as scheduled. So why did the postpone Washington County?
Because officials in the Romney campaign knew it was heavily favored to go Ron Paul. So they somehow convinced the Maine GOP to postpone the Caucus. In doing so it skewed the results to make it appear that Romney won but in reality it's not so simple. Romney won by 194 or so votes. The expected results from the Washington County Caucus would have given Paul at least this amount. So if the results from the Washington County Caucus had been factored Paul would've been declared the victor. So we should wait until the results from Washington County come in before declaring anyone the winner, right? Not according to GOP Chair Charlie Webster. In fact he was quoted as saying that when the results from Washington County are tallied it won't change a thing as the won't be counted.
This is wrong on so many levels it defies logic.
Well the silver lining in all this is that it appears that Ron Paul will win most of the Delegates for the state but if the state GOP is pulling stunts like this now, One can only imagine what they have planned for the Convention in May

If you're going to vote for

If you're going to vote for and support Romney then you might as well support Obama because if Romney becomes the nominee there is no way on God's green Earth he will have the votes to beat him.

Another 4 years of Obama is something the country can not afford but even if Romney was pull out a miracle and beat Obama his policies are/will be almost identical so the real losers here are the American people.

I think you need to do some

I think you need to do some more research on this issue.
It has been debunked time and time again
