I've read all your blogs on this whole saga Madeline. I don't know you, but I can tell you one thing for sure. Your kids, and your grandchildren are lucky to have you looking out for them. The links you posted in regards to this saga provided a wealth of information about the people involved.

I don't feel it's good for the image of the city of Auburn to have a city councillor that voted on an issue, then later financially benefitted from it in the past like you did mr. Herrick.
Hundreds of franco-americans helped build that Church every day for free after working a full work day at the mill; maybe it's time for the Catholic diocese to step up to the plate, and show some appreciation for the parishoners that built that Church, and pay to light it.
If the City's goal is to reduce overhead, and costs, how come that never includes a pay cut in your salary, and reduction of free city vehicles + gas for certain city officials Mr Aho ??. Now Belinda Gerry. She represents herself. "What's going to stop some person who has a problem with the Police from coming up here when we are in session making trouble?" Sounds like she's more concerned about her own safety, or, was that a concern of her constituents??? At a recent telivised meeting Belinda Gerry expressed her concern to the Chief of Police directly about how delivery trucks obstruct traffic around Auburn hall. I wonder how many constituents asked her to bring that important issue up!!! Now she wants to make sure no cops park in the parking garage because she doesn't want to walk any further than she already does to represent herself at the city council meetings ???
