Matt, when we were at Jim's house around the fire and you said you wanted to see polar bears, no one thought something like this would ever happen. I think you took things a little too literally. :o)
Glad you're safe and sound! My husband and I will be helping you get ready for winter.
My condolences to you, Esther dear. Erland was well loved and will be missed.
Shannon's home-made cinnamon rolls are to die for! Her Cheddar Broccoli soup is the best I have ever had, and her chili... well, it keeps winning awards, so that speaks for itself. My husband and I were her first customers in August, and we're often to be found sitting in her cafe having a nosh.
The jams and jellies are inventive and incredibly tasty! Even those that might give you pause (like Raspberry Jalapeño) are wicked good. The Moxie jelly is a favorite, and I love to have my breakfast of Ployes Crepes with cream cheese and Shannon's Blueberry Rhubarb jam.
Kudos to you, Shannon! Best of fortune to you!
