Sorry but i have to disagree. You my friend, are exactly what ignorant is. Dogs can be rehabilitated, with the right guidance. I have seen many dogs that were trained fighting dogs, fought in the ring, know exactly how to kill and have the ability to do so, and they are now calm submissive, well balanced dogs. So say what you want, but you have no idea what you are talking about.

Another sad story of two dogs losing their lives, because of an ignorant owner. I feel so bad the Jack's family:*( And also I feel bad for Hooch, who ultimately lost his life because his owner was too ignorant to take the necessary steps to ensure something like this would not happen. After the mailman incident, the owner should have made sure this would NEVER happen again. Which means you get the necessary training and guidance to help your dog. Dogs dont just act this way, to act this way. It breaks my heart to hear of dogs being put down all because of their owners.....I encourage anyone who is having problems with their dogs from small behavior problems to being aggressive towards other dogs or people, to contact the Dog Rehabilitation Center of Maine. These people are absolutely amazing, and have turned around many, would be euthanized, dogs and rehabilitated them into wonderful loving family dogs. Please do not let your dogs fate turn into the fate of hooch. RIP Jack, poor little guy. Also, RIP to Hooch.

This poor lady, my thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family. Also I just want to say it is so sad that this poor dog had to lose his life, because his owner was obviously too ignorant to properly train and handle his dog. Dogs dont just act like this, it is their owners job to properly handle their dog and take the necessary steps to ensure their dog is a good citizen. In the end, its the poor dogs that suffer because of their ignorant owners. And now this poor ladys life will never be the same, after such a traumatic event, that could have been all together avoided if his owner would have been more responsible. If you or someone you know is having behavioral problems with your/their dog, including being aggressive towards people or other dogs, I encourage them to seek the help from the Dog Rehabilitation Center of Maine, located in Greene. This place is absolutely amazing, and have saved lots of dogs lives.

You know what, even someone working a full time job would not be able to afford to send their child to a place that is $400/day! Its nice that you took the time out of your day to say those awful things about someone. Regardless, of whether theyre on the state or not, this woman needs help with her son! Would u say those things if the childs parents both worked full time jobs and were saying they needed help and couldnt afford it?! This has nothing to do with the family, and everything to do with the help this little boy so desperately needs.

This breaks my heart, i knew this little boy when he was younger, and he's a good, sweet kid. I hope he gets the help he so desperately needs. Hang in there.

Did I read this right? A 300 lbs pig inside the house?! And if the conditions were as bad as the state says they were, which Im sure they were, then Im glad they took all the animals! Poor defensless little guys, how can people do this to them? They cannot feed and water themselves, she better get jail time! But Im sure she will just get a fine and thats it. Wth?! People make me sick, there are some people that should never own animals, and she's obviously one of them!
