Hey Mark, once again you got everyones attention with your writing!!! This article caught my eye and of course I had to read more. I completely agree with you!!! Thank you so much for the chuckles and obvious being put into place for all to see. We are in Maine, we are Mainer's and we can suck it up and head on out.

It's so sad that the owners felt it right to leave her there instead of taking her to the shelter. At least she is now is good care and will find a good home to go to. Way to go Animal Control and Shelter Staff!

This display has been going on a long time. They are amazing people not just for the lights they display but for the things they do for the community year round. There is no difference in their show than the lighting of bags on Briarcliff or the haunted house on Summer Street. There is no way to please everyone so the majority says leave it alone! If people that live there want to, they can post a special color or something in their glass so that onlookers make room for their coming and going. This isn't difficult and it takes not a college degree to be reasonable. Just a little humanity!!!!!!!!

Okay this poor woman wants better for her husband than has been given in the past. There is nothing wrong with requesting better care of the grounds that were already paid for.
Dear Sir, how dare you leave such a horrid message for someone of her age and frailty. You said it in your message. May you answer to god for what you have done. In the mean time. Step up your work and provide the appropriate care needed on the grounds.
WOW

justice
Finally some justice! Another preditor off the streets for a long time
About time!
ELHS has been falling into ruin for years now. It's about time that someone see that and award the monies needed to take care of it!
GOOD Catch
If she couldn't care for the dog, she could have signed it over to the shelter under those cited reasons.
I hope she has fines and faces community service. Not just that but also this public disgrace is a plus
GET HIM
Good Luck and get him. There is no excuse possible for such behavior.
Nice
I truly love to read your writings! Keep it up!!!
