Sir, if you really think that someone should be arrested for leaning against a fire truck, you have a real problem with reality. I never knew those firetrucks were so fragile and could be damaged by leaning on one. Special note, it seems that Cummings threw the beer can AFTER being told (in a menacing way I'm sure) to stop leaning against the truck. Sounds to me like the cop started the confrontation with some typical "I am the PO PO (aka God) don't mess with ME!" attitude!
This cop "Dailey" really sounds like a jerk, typical of lots of them. "Stop leaning against that truck!" is just a way to act tough and start a confrontation.

How wonderful for you. Didn't the SJ recently run a story about some "father" who was just let out of prison and "found" his "son" on Facebook and showed up at the school? How dare you try to tell us that the risk is not real! The risk of getting blown up on a plane is also statistically miniscule, but the government still sees fit to grope my junk! The odds of me running into another car head on at 55mph and being sent flying through the window to land and go splat on the pavement is statistically miniscule, but I'm still forced to wear my seatbelt. I've read quite a lot of insightful comments in these forums by "anonymous" posters. Unfortunately, that's all going to end. What a shame that people will be afraid to post their honest opinions and insider information. Now the SJ gets to control the information, and that's really what they're after.

If you don't like that or think it's "OMG NOT FAIR!!!! HE'S RICH!!!!!", tough. Get a degree in Municipal Administration (or whatever) and go get a job as a town manager some place if you think that's the road to easy street. Or, you could become a teacher. We all know that's a good, cushy job that'll make you a million bucks! Sorry, but all of you people who just shout sour grapes really irritate me.
