What you don't seem to get Claire, is that whether someone got their gun legally, or not....If a person wants a gun bad enough, they will get one....blaming the gun, or the NRA, is ridiculous! What about all the people who are mugged, at knife point, every day, should we force CUTCO to close it's doors, and remove all knives from people's homes, and restaurants? Guns do not kill people, people kill people!!!!
Thank you Kathy! The ones who will come on here, and place judgement, without knowing Mike and his family, literally make me sick to my stomach! I used to work with his wife, and loved her, we had so much fun...and Mike always has a pleasant comment....I feel so sad for the kids too...and to re-quote you Kathy, they are wonderful people, who have always been involved in the town, and schools....to quote Kathy again, don't judge...none of us know what we are capable of, until put in a situation we have never been in. Thinking of them all, being so close to the holiday....
Maybe you shouldn't comment on stories you know nothing about...This man, and his family are well respected members of this community...people have issues sometimes, and things get out of hand...I am just happy that no one was hurt, and maybe because they were outside for 6 hours, is WHY, no one was hurt. And as a Minot taxpayer, and neighbor of less than a quarter mile, I for one do not mind at all, and think that my money is well spent here. I also personally know this man, and his family, and think you need not judge anyone. And further more.....I guarantee he had a background check, and passed with flying colors!
As Judge Judy says, when something doesn't make sense, it's probably not true. Those are some strong maggots, to survive the 500+ degree oil the chicken was cooked in, and as others have said, why no sauce on the little guy??? There are also just too many details on her part, as far as what she did, before and after buying the *infested* cluckers! As for other comments I've read on here, all businesses, stores, and restaurants, go into CLEANING mode, when they know they have an inspection coming....DUH!!! Wouldn't you? Everyone wants to pass...and for the fruit flies, on the fruit? Again...DUH!!! The fruit comes from everywhere, in state, out of state, sometimes out of the country...Do you think the sellers, or Walmart wash the fruit before selling it? Do you think your local veggie stands wash the fruit and veggies before you buy it? Come on, where there is fruit, there is going to be fruit flies...it's just common sense, you wash them when you get home. Anyway, I'm thinking this story will go away as quickly as it spread on Facebook...now Facebook, don't even get me started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr Di Conzo, unless you are, or have been a member of law enforcement, whether it be a police officer, game warden, or otherwise, unless you have been in a situation, where your life could be in eminent danger, I don't see how you could ask such an obvious crazy question. The officers are trained to serve and PROTECT! Sometimes that PROTECT, refers to themselves...These officers get up, everyday, and head out to work, not knowing if they will come home. This was a tragic, tragic situation, and no one knows what Eric was thinking when he went into those woods...no one except Eric. Thoughts and prayers go out to all the families involved in the horrible tragedy.
I just wanted to comment on this story. I love it when people read an article in the paper, and hop on here, to "voice their opinion." Those of you with your negative comments, have that right to express it. However, if the entire state of Maine, got to look at your life, at your past, at the skeletons in your closet, at things you, or maybe family members have done, what would we see? What would we have to say? Would you want to be judged by bad choices you made? Would you want to be judged for bad choices a family member made? It's so easy to judge, when you don't understand...but remember, what goes around comes around, and it might be you someday, with your dirty laundry spread in the newspaper for everyone to see...how would you like to be reading the comments you wrote, about your son, or loved one? Like Amanda said, a Mother's love, is unconditional...........You can love your son unconditionally, and not like what they do. Just saying..........
The fact, that they have done all this, and "MAY LOSE THE RIGHT TO APPLY FOR A PENNSYLVANIA HUNTING LICENSE AGAIN" IS RIDICULOUS! They shouldn't be allowed to have another hunting license, fishing license, or driver's license PERIOD! THEY DESERVE TO LOSE THEIR PRIVILEGES IN ALL STATES. The fact that one used to be a police officer, is very disturbing. It just proves that there are dirty cops everywhere, but they get caught,by the police officers, who DO UPHOLD the laws, even to a fellow "Brother". Nice to see!
