I find it interesting that Dave Murphy just got a big fat raise this year. I find it interesting that his children attend Gould Academy. I find it interesting that he is one of the highest paid Superintendents in this state. I think that if his children actually attended OUR school district, he would be singing a different tune. He didn't want to consolidate with Rumford, the closest district to us. He made sure we were granted the right to stand alone knowing full well the financial consequences our district would suffer. Once again our children are being made to suffer for one mans selfishness and irresponsibility to the people of this district. When are we all going to wake up and smell the coffee?????? We lose, he gains. I find his actions reprehensible, irresponsible and just UNBELIEVABLE. Our children deserve the same educational opportunities that ever other child in this country are are entitled to. We need someone to speak for THEM. Obviously, Dave Murphy is not interested in our children at all. That is not acceptable and we need to do something about it.
Bah Humbug. Having a 1 hour parade with a little party afterward really infringes on the children's learning time? I think the aforementioned people who decided to take the fun out of halloween need to get a life.
Finally, the voice of reason. What the hell is going on and how can they keep quiet about it this long? Doesn't anyone want to know? Does anyone care? Something is obviously going on and we have a RIGHT to know. We elected these people, we PAY these people and these little "secret meetings" are ridiculous and borderline illegal. Come on people, speak up! speak up!!!!
I'm sorry but, your "loved one" planned and executed the murder of two men. I didn't know either of the murder victims but I do know one brother of Victor and no matter what transpired between him and his "EX" and your brother, senseless murder is NOT the answer. Honestly, I don't understand why you would want to see your brother after what he did. In any case, I feel bad for your family that you have to live the rest of your lives knowing that your brother took the wrong road. It is still unforgivable and both of those "honor students" are looking at a long long prison sentence. Like you said, alot of people were affected by this double murder but you need to see it from the Sheldon's and the Day's perspectives. What if it was your son, your brother, your mother, your father, your sister, etc. I honestly don't feel bad for your brother or that animal that pulled the trigger.

AND, who dropped the domestic assault charges against Victor on Monday? Could it be the "estranged wife'? I don't think she was as "estranged" as she would like us to believe. And that psychopath that set up the murder and got his "friend" involved are going to have to pay the piper in this life or the next. It's all very petty and very very sad story. My condolences to the Sheldon and Day families.
