Can you say "RINO"?

She is unbelievable. I hope my fellow Conservative Republicans remember this come the next election. We need REAL Republicans in office, not these wishy washy representatives who bend over backwards to try to please everyone.

Yeah Nona!

My husband and I watched this season and had picked her from the beginning as a finalist. We're so glad she won. Like you stated, she ran her kitchen with class and got the results she wanted from her team, without berating anyone and threatening to "blacklist" them... You go Nona.

Personal Responsibility

Oh please. When does this become a matter of personal responsibility? What about the hundreds of people who would benefit with jobs, and the thousands who would benefit from taxes that the casino would be paying. Stop sending this revenue to CT. We need this in Maine. Those who oppose it because of possible addiction, are they also opposed to bars because of alcohol addiction?

NO on 1 supporters, keep

NO on 1 supporters, keep spewing hateful names at those us of brave enough to stand up for what's right. It shows how childish they can be. "If we can't get our way, or if people speak against us, we'll just hurl insults at them to try to make them look bad." In our letters you can see that those in favor of repealing this law have said we don't "hate" gay people, but homosexuality is a deviation and against God. Yes you all come back saying we're bigots or worse. I will continue to pray for those who are going to VOTE YES, and those who are either undecided or planning to VOTE No, that they will be brave enough to vote to uphold Marriage as 1 man & 1 woman.

Wonderfully written Mr

Wonderfully written Mr Pajak. Watch out though, because the rest of the day you'll see posts from those who preach tolerance and love towards neighbor, bashing you as being a bigot, hater, and/or lier for standing up for your beliefs (which also happen to be the beliefs of hundreds of thousands who signed the petition to get this issue on the November ballot).

The lawsuits are for real. Look them up, cause you obviously didn't before spewing your hatred at me. Oh, and read the article above which argues against same-sex marriage and leaves church out of it. It still makes sense. Not to you, I'm sure. But then, I don't care what YOU think anyway.

For all you posters who think I hate, but spew your hatred at me, please read this article from someone who gives a non-church arguement against same sex marriage.

When I say my opinion, you

When I say my opinion, you call me a hater. When I back it up with facts, you tell me my logic is fallacy. Interesting. You have no other arguments except to call me names. So go ahead and print that you think I'm lying and that I must hate all gay people (which I don't since I have several family/friend who are) because I agree that homosexuality and same sex marriage is wrong. I'd rather be called every name in the book by ignorant people like you and know that I have upheld my faith before God.

The first amendment to the

The first amendment to the US Constitution states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, OR prohibiting the free exercise thereof" The two parts, known as the "establishment clause" and the "free exercise clause" respectively. So by enacting this law, the State has violated my Constitutional rights because it's prohibiting the free exercise of my Christianity which follows that same sex marriage is morally wrong. Plus I am not against civil rights. That's why a union between same sex couples should be termed a "CIVIL UNION." Then let the lawmakers say that this entitles them to those legal rights (most of which same sex partners already have), and make sure it allows those of us who are not comfortable (because of our religious beliefs which are protected under the Constitution) the right to refuse to partake in their ceremonies without being sued.
