Sorry, but this is just further proof that our government has gotten too big, and out of control. Regardless of the potential health risks, they should not be telling the public what they can or cannot eat. People should be smart enough to know what is good, and what is not good for themselves! Outlawing this stuff is just stupid, and over reaching as well. That is not what governments are there for!

Milk prices can still remain

Milk prices can still remain affordable via free market competition. As taxpayers, we should not be paying for any government subsidizing whatsoever. It costs us more in the long run, than it is worth, and also, that is not a funtion of government! They should not be involved with this at all.

Joanne-you actually have some

Joanne-you actually have some good points, and who knows-you may be right about the insurance thing. But keep in mind, that overall the whole machine is more expensive, and more corrupted than in the old days. However, seeing how bad Big Brother has "managed" our monies over the many years, I have little faith in them. I think you are a fool if you think that these corrupt politicians can "fix" anything, especially our comlex healthcare system.

ACA

Good post JIm-you are correct, but this corrupt administration and many members of our Congress and Senate, as well as the Supreme Court, do not agree!

ACA

I'm not a republican, but this makes me laugh. This abomination of legislation was a disaster before it even was made "available", and it's apparently been a nightmare so far, with almost no one signing up for it! Anyone who believes that the government can make anything "more affordable" is out of their mind! It's never happened, in the entire history of the nation. SO, as usual, we the taxpayers will only continue to get screwed here. Thanks Democrats, for increasing my health insurance costs, and lowering the quality of my future healthcare!

Sad story

This is a sad story, but I'd bet this school was a so called "gun free" zone. How many more lives and injuries must we witness, before this sheer stupidioty is stopped? Gun men and armed psychos purposely target these "zones", because they know that the chance of someone beiong armed and shooting back at them is slim. Gun free zones opnly help the psychos and the criminals, while only further endangering the law abiding citizens, teachers, and students. It is time to nationally allow at least a few teachers/principals, etc., the right to carry concealed. It will save many lives over time.

tax breaks

It is worth trying. The bootm line is that they need to control their spending, and keep the budget balanced, and do so without continously adding and raisinng taxes on us. Many of us are getting killed, or barely surviving in this economy, and the Federal and many of the state governments have gotten too big, and out of control with their money management(mismanagement, really), and their spending.

Sad

Newsflash: If he killed and wounded this many people, it is still an act of terrorism.
An obvious case of serious mental illness; this is the real problem across America, not the guns. The failure of our mental healthcare systems, and the gangs. Fix these two issues, and watch the gun violence almost completely disappear.
