Jocelyn, I couldn't agree with you more. People sit on their big butts and expect us to support them while people like you get off their butts and try to support their families. Is there something wrong here? They live better than we do and do nothing, they should earn their money by doing community service. Maybe a new governor will help you, changes are certainly necessary. God bless you.
Very good letter, Bert. Welfare is a way of life for many, the state and city make it too easy for them to get help. They should be put to work in schools, churches, public garages, food banks, etc. Work for what they get. It is a way of life for some people. If you work, you can get some help but just don't sit on your a-- and do nothing. How sad that people have no pride!!!!
Why there are more Christians in prison is because there are more Christians than atheists in the USA. The legislature took our rights away by voting for same sex marriage when we had voted it down twice before, they had no right. If people marry out of the church, it's fine, as long as they are a man and woman. I have some relatives who are atheists and all they can do is call us Christians names so God bless you all.
I was a co-chairman on YES on #1, our signs were trashed, people were threatened and are still being threatened. The NO signs in our area were very few and in the surrounding towns also. We won and we will keep fighting for marriage as one man and one woman. I caught someone trying to rip the sign off my vehicle. Sun Journal did their job, live with it.
Good letters. I was a co-chairman for the campaign and could not believe the signs were stolen and my sign on my car was almost ripped off because certain people didn't agree.
People I know were confronted and had to protect themselves. We are not bigots, it was our right to vote YES or NO and the outcome was like it is. The legislature had no right to vote on this without the approval of the people, I intend to get the names of all the legislature and see how they voted. People, they work for us and it seems that we have no say; just like the new tax bill that will start in January, the petitions were signed and in June, we can repeal that law. May God bless us all.
Very good letter. I've recently had a problem with the pastor of my church and he made it impossible to stay in that church. Because of the problem of one pastor, my faith is stronger than ever, I will forgive him, and find myself a new church . I will seek the help of God in doing this.
Just like believe in marriage: one man and one woman and will vote YES to #1.
God bless us all.
