I'm not a Christian, so correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Jesus teach sympathy and compassion? I don't believe hatred and intolerance was a big part of what he wanted for humanity. In fact, Matthew 25:40 says pretty clearly how a Christian should treat his neighbors. How will Jesus view those who cannot show compassion?

When the founding fathers gave us the right to believe whatever we want, they also gave us the right to not be Christian and to have a moral code not based in Christianity. Furthermore, marraige is a civil institution, giving legal rights recognised by the state to committed couples. Your religious beliefs have no bearing whatsoever on anyone else's civil rights. It's in the constitution. Read it sometime.

Handicap athletes? People are not handicaps. They are either "athletes with handicaps" or "handicapped athletes." These race participants have overcome huge obsticles in order to compete. Don't insult them by reducing them to "handicaps."
