I find out through a comment block that you have seen this happen before, but you take no action to contact me or her father. We are not making excuses for her actions and only have hear say about her habits. I agree with the fact that she needs to get her priorities in check and go through extensive parenting classes. There is nothing more important then our children! If you had read all comments you would have seen that I agree it was an unexcusable act and there are no excuses for their actions. I know she was taught moral and values and not sure what she was thinking, now my granddaughter is a victim of the couples circumstances!
WOW! It amazes me how people can be so judgemental about parents and their children. I feel before you give advice or an opinion you should know what your talking about. Never judge a book by it's cover.
And to eeyoresfriend, I bet you never left your child in a vehicle! MMM...like when you stopped to get something from moms house, got ready to leave for work running late and forgot something important, child was sleeping after running errands so you brought the groceries inside...my point is, no matter whether it's for a few minutes or 30 minutes it still is wrong. I'm sure many parents are guilty for doing the same thing. The difference between most and this young couple is they made the news!
The photo used makes the 18 year old look like a monster, but I want people to know that she feels remorseful and she cried endlessly. People need to know more about other people before passing judgement! It's ok to express concern and share your thoughts, but somethings written are just uncalled for. I know she now realizes how dangerous and unsafe is was for the baby. Everyone parent has made mistakes. For instance, When we bath our kids how many people have turned their back for a second, how many have had kids fall downstairs, how many have had them cut their hair....you get my point! I agree, it's not like leaving a baby in a car, but we are all guilty for unexcusable choices!
I think this writer should have more respect for the parents who raised her. I'm confused...you say the parents used drugs and alcohol and never taught you any morals of values, but then you tell everyone that your sister is a good parent. I think the parents did teach you right from wrong and now your looking for someone to blame!
I agree that what happened is completely unexcusable. I want to let those know whom have pointed fingers at the parents that the parents of either party have no control over what decisions they make as adults. I know for a fact that both sets of parents are working, productive citizens just like most whom have blogged their opinions. I will tell all that the grandparents will be exploring every avenue to ensure the safety and welfare of the little baby girl!

Dear deimos, You do not
Dear deimos,
You do not know anything about these two young adults and yet you have the most to say. I will gladly remind you to judge is to be judged!
The photo used makes the 18

To Ingnorance
I believe people like yourself are very narrow minded or should not throw stones at glass houses.
Knowing right for wrong

Don't judge parents for childs actions
