I was at that selectmens meeting and I didn't hear one thing mentioned about things in this story. What do they do, meet in secret after the meeting is adjourned?!?!? Call me VERY confused!!

Yup...just as I thought. The dogs were pit bulls. Why were they not put down?!?!? And the he still gets to keep the dogs?!?! Does anyone think he will call Costello every time he leaves home?!? What a laugh! And, if he is permitted to keep these hideous dogs, I hope it isn't a child they attack, next time! Shame on him and everyone involved with letting the dogs live and live with him!

I agree...kudos to all who had a part in rescuing this kitty. It was probably scared to death and would have died if not rescued. I hope it finds a good home.

I feel very sorry for Abra and what he had to go through. You're probably right...pit bulls! They are just the most hideous dog ever bred and don't know why ANYONE would want one, not to mention two! I think pit bull owners are morbidly twisted. Shame on them! twisted

I am so sorry for the lady who was attacked so viciously by such a dangerous dog. It's one thing to have a dog like this, if you keep it chained, but to let it roam free is unforgivable, not to even mention against the law!. And why, oh why, do people want these sorts of dogs. Do they prove the owner's manliness? Shame on you Martin Vining!! Maybe you never have a moments peace for the rest of your life!

OK, people, can ANY of you read what is printed. No where does it say a casino in Oxford. It says Oxford County! For those of you who don't know, these terms are not interchangeable. Oxford county covers several square miles, as opposed to Oxford covering many more less. Why does everyone think it would be in Oxford. I have never heard anyone say specifically Oxford. It's always been Oxford County. Before you get your bloomers in a twist, find out what you're talking about. I'm just saying...

I am not getting a free pass, because Frank Chandler didn't like a question I asked him at the selectman's meeting about why he thought he had to lie about having knocked on everybody's door, when he did no such thing. So this article isn't quite correct. NOT everyone who lives is getting a pass to the festival. Idixon...getting the fact's right!
