I have a disabled adult son withsevere autism, nonverbal, low functioning although he is a wonderful man who puts forth 110% effort every day. He uses MaineCare and I am asked, before every procedure, if he has any other insurance. When he was a child, he was eligible for Mainecare but the parent's insurance always paid. The rule is you tap the other insurance first.
Because it's sad to see a beautiful building go, and all the history with it. On the other hand, a congregation that's too wrapped up in its edifice and trappings is ultimately going to fail. It's too far removed from the core values of what a Church can be.
...is how prevalent the abuse was among working-class families. My great-grandmother was murdered by her alcoholic husband, who had abused her and their children from day one. Later, one of his daughters accused him of incest and was shunned by the rest of the family because it got reported in the newspaper.
But is he going to use his experience to work on domestic abuse, child welfare or substance abuse issues? Nope. Gonna use it to crush anyone who hasn't been able to overcome it as well as he has, while giving our tax dollars to his precious little girl for a cushy state job and free room and board. We're also going to feed and house his mother-in-law while we are at it.
So the daughter who got the illegal in-state tuition and a cushy state job right out of school, now gets free room and board. And the mother-in-law too. And we're paying.
He's a thief. He got away with claiming Florida residency so that his kids could get in-state tuition for college there, and now is giving one of them a cushy job for which she isn't even qualified. He's mean, spiteful and is planning to punish everyone who wasn't able to succeed the way he has.

We have excellent health food stores right here in this area, Axis and Square Root, just to name 2. What an insult to them.
