Speeding is not right but being late for work adn speeding is much different than racing down a crowded street and then leaving the scene with soemone trapped in their car.

Do you have any commonsense? Ok think about it! You go to exit a parking lot...you look left......you see a car but the speed limit is 30ish so it will take him an appropriate amount of time to get to where you are....OH YES! BUT THIS IDIOT IS DRAGRACING! How the heck was this guy to know that idiot boy would drag soemone down Center street at 11:44 on a MOnday! Come on! Get a clue! Ticket the guy that pulled out!? They ought to ticket you for speaking without COMMONSENSE!

I would suspect if you looked into this dogs family tree, he is far from a mutt! These dogs are bred for temperment and other traits needed to be a K-9 officer. The ASPCA is a wonderful place to get a dog, all three of my dogs are rescues, but you can not be assured of their temperment and past history. The K-9 officers have a very tough job. You need to be assured, as much as you can be with any dog, that they are of the best quality. You pay for quality!

Mr. Chovanes was an incredible man. My daughter had him and he made her feel like she could do anything. He had such encouraging things to say to those kids every day. There were not many teachers at ELHS that took the time to not only teach these kids but also took the time to know them..really know them and make them feel worthwhile!

Part of the problem also stems around what the speed limits are on the back roads. On our road, Stackpole, it is 45 going past our house. It is a back road. It is curved, has kids on bikes etc. and many animals. Then you add the extra 5 to 10 miles an hour people go and it is a hazard. Durham is the country and there is no reason to have main road speed limits on them. Part of living in the country is the laid back life style. Lets keep our roads as slow!

Max was an incredible young person! I had not seen him in many years but his mom kept me updated on he and John's lives when I would see her. No matter what happened or what we believe comes after life we need to remember that this young person lost his life in a horrible crash. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.

The difference between a victim and a survivor is, a victim will be victimized for the rest of their life. Either by their own hand or that of others. A survivor is someone that takes what happened to them, uses it to benefit and help others and.....THEN MOVES ON! Not blaming others for their lives!

Hmmmmm! Seems I remember seeing Soule's name in the paper not too long ago! Maybe town government etc. needs to stop and think before allowing these slumlords to continue on with dev.
