The solution would be to use the talents we have in towne to detach the sewer pipe from the bridge and construct asuspension structure to support it across the river. The snowmobile club bult afantastic bridge across the river in Bbackkingdom twenty years ago. How about it, club members? Wouldn't you to save the taxpayers some of their hard earend money and participate in this project? You know the town has helped you out several times. What would our forefathers who created our vision of America think of the easy paths given to all the minorities in this country to enjoy the fruits of our labor. America became immensely prosperous thru hard work and sacrifice,but are we so prosperous that we need not cotinue to adhere to the principles and visions of our forefathers?
I am of absolute confidence that there isn't one town official that has the balls to remedy this problem by closing Coburn Ave. to ATV riding, but they would be happy to spend money to hire an officer to sit and watch for offenders.
The conflict between "quality of place" and " green energy" is polarizing Maine citizens, town by town. Oddly, the leaders of state government are spending our tax dollars promoting both. My opinion is that the state will compensate the people who suffer in defeat of their interests, which adds to the taxpayer's burden.
Surely, the meaning of transparency to government is spun from propaganda. They will reveal only what they want you to see. How can they be transparent when they pass bills they don't even read?
Help from Dixfield is on it's way. I will being leaving my home on Averill Road, pick up Rand's boat, stop and get a couple of cats from Mr. Roberts and be right up,
