I think possession should be legal, but restrictions should be in place to prevent large corporations from being able to sell marijuana in any form that could be laced with chemicals as are our cigarettes. This protection should be in place, especially as we know that once it is legal it WILL get into the hands of minors.
Since when would we have entitled an article "American pleads guilty to blah, blah, blah." Is it not enough to give his home address. A bit too much emphasis placed on his nationality in my estimation.
Daphne is Miss Maine's Outstanding Teen which is in no way connected to Miss Teen USA!
Yes, the building needs Repair and Renovation, but changing the classic facade is not the way to make "improvements". Of the three r's, Restoration should always come first and be the defining rule. Lewiston seems intent on modernizing all of it's architecture out of existance.
For heavens sake, Bill, do you not think that Walmart is big business? It is the most evil company in the US. It lowers all prices by blackmailer it's vendors and then drives all smaller companies out of town or out of business. I find Hannaford's prices quite reasonable, and only shop there, Food City and Trader Joe's when in Portland. Food City is a great small store, but their assortment is limited by their square footage and the butcher the other day didn't know he could have corned their own beef. There's not much to ruin on Route 4, unfortunately. Hannaford will probably be quite attractive compared to most of the stuff between here and Farmington.
I love whoopie pies as much as the next person, but blueberry cake is the Maine State Dessert/Treat.
Patrick actually lived the first years in Turner. His dad was my insurance man, and I remember him running around the house while we conducted our business.
