This editorial has all the markings of a Mark Laflamme piece.  Despite the fact that I think the open display of firearms is not necessary, and could easily misunderstood by many, it is a right.  On the other topic, there are very few who can successfully pull of the bare-chested look (men or women), so I would suggest that a quick glance in the mirror before going out in public could eliminate much of the problem.  The editorial was very amusing.
