To begin the day! Thank you, Judy Meyer!
if Rumford citizens had not voted to reduce the town's budget, taxpayers would have had an increase in taxes.
And, the paper mill situation, which was noted by those seeking a reduced budget, is a problem for taxpayers, the community of Rumford itself, although this fact was downplayed by elected and appointed officials last year who wanted a high budget.
This year a high budget has again been proposed by Rumford's elected and appointed officials.
One has to wonder...
Who, how many, citizens, town manager, selectmen, eh, Brad?
About our hauling our own discards. In fact, I see this being done every time I go to the recycling station - chairs, cabinets, refrigerators, tv's, you name it.
For the candidates for the Rumford selectman's position so citizens will gain substantial views to help them make choices.
that Mark Belanger spearheaded the secret ballot, voting at the polls, in our town? It is good to see this happening in Dixfield now. Congratulations.
for curbside pickup in the spring. The fact that it is free is not true. I am very surprised the reporter missed that simple point. We taxpayers pay the town crews their salary.
certainly does not need my help, does it, Ron? You would be right at home with our present selectmen!
emailed me, Bob. I don't hide.
To Rumford, Ronald, don't stay in East Boothbay where you live!
