AUBURN — The West Auburn Congregational Church, 811 West Auburn Road, will hold a barbecue from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9. Menu will include hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, strawberry shortcake and beverages.

Cost: $7 for adults, age 4 to 12, $4; 3 and younger, free.

DURHAM — Acacia Lodge will serve a baked bean supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, on Route 136. 

FARMINGTON — Old South First Congregational Church will serve its first free community luncheon of the season with roast pork loin at noon on Saturday, Sept. 9.

Delivery service will be available in Farmington.

LEWISTON — Bean suppers will resume at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 59 Sabattus St.

Those attending should use the garden entrance on Bartlett Street.

Cost: $8 for adults, $3 for children younger than 12. The church is wheelchair accessible and all are welcome.

LISBON FALLS — Knights of Columbus will serve a baked bean and casserole supper from 4:45 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at the Holy Trinity Church parish hall, 67 Frost Hill Ave.

Cost: Adults, $8; children younger than 12, $4; families with children younger than 12, $18.

LIVERMORE FALLS — Emmanuel Assembly of God will serve its final community barbecue meal of the season from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at 17 Reynolds Ave., across the street from the American Legion Hall.

Everyone is welcome.

Cost: Free. 

MEXICO — Mexico Congregational Church, UCC (the “Green Church”), will serve a ham supper at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at 163 Main St.

An auction of whole pies will be held following the meal.

Takeout will be available at 5:30 p.m.

Cost: Adults, $8; children younger than 12, $3.

OTISFIELD — A classic baked bean supper will be served on Saturday, Sept. 9, at the East Otisfield Free Baptist Church, Rayville Road, a mile from State Route 121. 

There will be seatings at 4:30 and 6 p.m.

Cost: By donation. 

LEWISTON — SeniorsPlus is offering a dining site designed to cater to the Somali community in the St. Mary’s Nutrition Center at 208 Bates St.

The public is invited to attend lunches served there on Mondays (except holidays) at 11:30 a.m.

Cost: $3.

LOCKE MILLS — Jackson-Silver Post 68, American Legion, will host a dinner and dance Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 595 Gore Road.

The casserole dinner will be served from 5 to 9 p.m. Music by Shadagee Ramblers will start at 6:30 p.m.

Cost: $7 for dinner; $5 for dance; $12 for both; $4 for children younger than 12. 

LISBON FALLS — A spaghetti supper will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at the Masonic Hall, Oak Street. 

The supper is sponsored by Lewiston Assembly 14 for the Worthy Advisor’s Service Project.

Cost: $7 for adults; $3 for children 12 and younger; free for preschool age. 

NORWAY — Second Congregational Church of Norway will serve a community supper from 5 to 6 p.m. on the third Friday of the month except August. 

Everyone is welcome.

Cost: Free.
