Golf: Local results

Springbrook Golf Ckub hosted two holes-in-one this week.

Paul Coville, 82, of South Paris registered what is reported as the 12th hole-in-one of his career Monday. Coville used an 8-iron to solve the 133-yard 13th hole. Steve Dyer, Becky Laliberte and Connie Pettis witnessed the milestone.

Don White of Auburn scored an ace Tuesday on the 168-yard eighth hole. White used a 5-iron. Playing partners were Gary Weber, Art Jackman and Jim Fleming.

The Meadows in Litchfield also produced a recent ace. Ken Lizotte, also of Litchfield, carded his first hole-in-one on the par-3 17th hole. He used a 9-iron to cover the 140 yards. Lizotte's playing partners were Dick and Jean Blanchette of Sabattus.
