PORTLAND — Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Maine will host its third multigenerational a cappella musical concert Saturday, March 6, at the University of Southern Maine. The Bates College Crosstones will be among the featured groups.
Other ensembles are from Bowdoin and Colby colleges, and the University of New Hampshire, plus the Yarmouth women’s quartet Rally.
All told, eight singing groups have volunteered to help raise funds to support children needing mentors in southern Maine.
“Acappellooza 10” is an annual event, created by Terri Hatt, who was a Big Sister with the organization.
Tickets may be purchased at all Bull Moose Music locations, by calling 773-KIDS or at the door. General admission is $12.
The concert will be at 7 p.m. in Hannaford Hall in the Abromson Center. Free parking is available in the garage adjacent to the center.
