Concerts in the Park series to begin in Paris

PARIS – The town’s department of parks and recreation will present its Concerts in the Park: Moore Park Summer Entertainment Series beginning Wednesday, July 11. First up to perform will be Rick Adam, children’s entertainer, at 10 a.m.; followed by Lady Luck Duo, musicians, at 6 p.m.

As usual, events will be held in the gazebo at Moore Park. If it rains, performance will be moved to the Paris Fire Hall on Western Avenue. Admission is free. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. Guests are welcome to pack a picnic, too.

Coming up Saturday, Aug. 11, will be Moore Art in the Park, a festival from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring more than 40 fine artisans, entertainment and food. More artists and food vendors are needed. If interested, sign up before July 15.
