NORTH CONWAY, N.H. — Conrad LaFrance, 84, of Albany, N.H., died April 19, at the Memorial Hospital in North Conway, N.H.
Born in Nashua, N.H., the son of Joseph and Andrea (Rioux) LaFrance, he lived in Billerica, Mass., for 25 years and in Poland from 1985 to 2008 prior to moving to Albany.
He served with the U.S. Navy Seabees during World War II and was a member of the V.F.W.
He had been employed by the Town of Billerica for 25 years as an ambulance attendant for the police department. Conny also worked as the starter at the Resort at Poland Springs Golf Course in Poland Springs, from 1985 until his illness.
The family includes two sons, Brian J. LaFrance of Albany, N.H. and Rodney C. LaFrance of Costa Rica; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ruthann (Torpey) LaFrance; and a daughter, Cheryl Bourque LaFrance in 1998.
