Constance Gardner Falls

FERNLEY, Nev. – Constance (Connie Gardner) Falls of Fernley, Nev., passed into our Father’s hands Sunday, April 23, at home, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Lewiston, June 2, 1942, the daughter of Edmund and Agnes Page Gardner Sr. She attended Lewiston schools before marrying Richard Edwards, with whom she had four children.

She then traveled a lot, until settling in Nevada with her husband of today, Dean Falls, who faithfully cared for her.

Besides her children and grandchildren, she loved her many feline friends that comforted her through her illness. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, gardening and crocheting. Every Christmas she made many gifts, including hats and mittens for needy children. She had a big heart and is very much missed.

She is survived by her husband, Dean Falls of Fernley, Nev.; four children, Tammy Mahan and husband, Mitch, of Iowa, Richard Edwards Jr. and wife, Matina, of Casco, James Edwards of Auburn and Wendy Rehdorf and husband, Chuck, of Carlin, Nev.; five grandchildren, Hanna and Lydia Mahan of Iowa and Chris, Charlie and Heather of Nevada; nieces and nephews; her mom, Agnes Gardner of Marshwood Care Center, Lewiston; brother, Edmund S. Gardner Jr. of Portland; and sister, Colleen DeHayes and husband, Allan, of Turner.

She was predeceased by her father, Edmund S. Gardner Sr.; and a nephew, Joseph Gardner.
